Melbourne is filled with a lot of things to do. It’s also filled with a good number of bars and pubs, which makes the city a-okay with me.
[adinserter name=”Block 2″]Melbourne is very cultural diverse city. It has something for everyone. If there isn’t something for you to do while you’re there, I don’t think you life is worth living at that point. Plus, a person has to be a pretty big moron to not get along with the Aussies even on a phone call. With that said, you’re representing your country so make sure you could hold your alcohol. Here is a list of things to do while in Melbourne, Australia, aka the City of Unprotected Sex (…okay I made up that nickname, but I’m sure the Aussies love it):
- AC/DC Lane – The little laneway dedicated to AC/DC and it’s filled with Run DMC artwork.
AC/DC Lane - Hosier Lane – The famous graffitti and mural filled laneway.
Hosier Lane - Union Lane – It’s another famous graffitti and mural filled laneway.
Union Lane - DeGraves Street – The famous hidden laneway filled with shops, restaurants and bars.
DeGraves Street - Royal Botanic Garden – Melbourne’s Central Park but it’s named the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Royal Botanic Gardens - Shrine Of Remembrance – Australia’s War Memorial.
Shrine of Remembrance - South Wharf Promenade – The famous promenade on the Yarra river.
The bridge at South Wharf - Crown Casino – The casino within the city limits where husbands go gamble their paychecks away instead of giving it to their wives.
Crown Casino - Fitzroy – The artsy hipster neighborhood within Melbourne’s city limits.
Fitzroy Street Art - Royal Exhibition Building – It’s a building where Australians go to bitch about their government’s policy.
REB - Chinatown – It’s probably one of the largest Chinatown in the world. It’s approximately a block.
