Cumulus & the Australian Brekkie

Cumulus Inc is another best of Melbourne from numerous travel sites, so I had to try it.  I came here for breakfast before I headed to the rain forest.

It’s located on Flinders Lane where a lot of stuff is located like cars, streets, parking structures, advertising signs and trees.  You know.  The basic stuff people usually see on a street.  My cousin and I sat at the kitchen bar and watched the chefs do their thing.  The place was packed at 9am and it made me wonder if Aussies believed in working.  I came to the conclusion that Aussies don’t work very hard or hardly work after my cousin told me about their holiday time policy.  What a bunch of lazy w*nkers?!?  Geez, man. What kind of westerner are you if you’re not apart of the rat race?

Anyway, I went with the Full English.  It was a great sight like Kanye West being banned from all the award shows.  The plate had blood sausage on toast, smoked bacon, fried eggs and a smoked tomato.  The bacon was thick and seared on the outside.  It wasn’t salty and I didn’t get the feeling of sodium overload like how I usually do when I decide to take a shot of soy sauce.  The blood sausage was spread on the toast and the bread was soft.

I don’t usually eat tomato cause it falls into the healthy department; but, I made an exception with this one cause it looked burnt.   It was prepared perfectly and all the nutrition value was gone.  The fried egg was partly sunny side up; once broken, it covered the bacon like the news outlet over a Donald Trump controvery.  Yes, it was that much.   I have to say that it’s easily in my top 5 breakfast I’ve had.

The coffee wasn’t as strong as I have hope.  I need like 5 shots of espresso to get me goingg in the morning; however, it was still a solid offering from Cumulus.  The organic OJ was fresh and clean like myself after I decide to shower for the first time in 5 days.

Overall, I definitely recommend Cumulus Inc for your breakfast or brunch needs.  It’s definitely one of the best breakfast meals I’ve ever had and trust me I’ve many breakfasts my life.  However, those exclude days when I wake up at 12 PM, which is everyday.   The food wasn’t oily or greasy and it was a great way to start off the day like having morning sex.  I guess you can say I don’t start off the day great cause I never had morning sex.
