Taste Baguette & Legal Vietnamese Crack aka Coffee

Taste Baguette is a little bakery located near Mr. Wong.  I stopped by here for Coffee after my meal at Mr Wong.

I came across Taste Baguette after stumbling around Sydney and loosening my belt buckle from my meal at Mr Wong.  I needed a pick up from my massive meal and Taste Baguette sounded like the perfect option.  This branch located in the Westfield Mall was fairly small with only a few tables and patrons on their computers trying to look like they’re hip.

I went with the Vietnamese coffee.  I didn’t think it was a good blend or an effort of it.  The coffee tasted water down and lacked the thickness of traditional Vietnamese coffee I’m used to.  It was okay.  The reason I say it’s okay was because it wasn’t made with condense milk.  I grew up in Southern California and the Vietnamese coffee is made with condense milk.  It will have you running circles like a meth head trying to fix his car at 4 AM in the dead of the winter.

However, it’s a nice little cafe for a quick bite, cheap and  a decnet place to hydrate yourself from the strenuous shopping.  The staff was really nice and helpful.  I think Aussies are just nice in general.  I was a bit disappointed I didn’t get an “F off, wanker” from any Aussies during my visit.  I guess some goals aren’t meant to be achieve in life. *sigh*
